How to Get a Medical Examination
Patients can apply by visiting the relevant clinic secretary or by calling the Ministry of Health’s MHRS phone line at 182 to make an appointment.
Applications must include an official photo ID belonging to the patient.
Patients have the right to choose their doctor. Monthly work schedules of doctors are available in all clinics.
Reception, guidance, and direction staff are available to help patients access services more easily.
Appointment registrations are done by the medical secretary of the relevant clinic.
Priority is given to emergency cases (sudden illness, accidents, injuries, or cases requiring urgent medical intervention as decided by a physician), persons with disabilities, pregnant women, patients over 65, children under 7, widows and orphans of martyrs, and disabled veterans.
For judicial cases referred by law enforcement, prior notification and appointment must be arranged with the health institution.
Patients requesting confidentiality of their personal information should inform the relevant secretary; in such cases, the rules in the “Written Procedure for Ensuring Patient Privacy” are applied.
